Includes but is not limited to works in Historical Musicology, Jazz, Cultural Musicology, Popular Music, Composition, Theory, Music Psychology, Performance Practice, etc.
- Candidates enter at the L.Mus. level; pre-requisite the A.Mus. in performance.
- Candidates are required to submit a discussion paper plus a video presentation of various aspects of the research at each stage of the series.
Licentiate in Musicology: L.Mus
Pre-requisites: AMus. ACPM.
Requirements: First Stage - Single study area
- Candidates are required to submit a paper on various aspects of the research in any chosen area.
- Video Presentation: Explain how and why the research was developed and discuss practice-specific approaches.
Master of Musicology: M.Mus
Pre-requisites: Licentiate in Music: L.Mus. CPM.
Requirements: Second Stage - Two study areas
- Candidates are required to submit a paper on various aspects of the research in the chosen areas.
- Video Presentation: Explain how and why the research was developed and discuss practice-specific approaches.
- Clearly demonstrate how each area may contribute extra features that seek to improve or emphasize overall qualities
Fellowship in Musicology - FMII
Fellow of the Masters International Institute
Pre-requisites: MMus. FCPM.
Requirements: Third Stage - Three study areas
- Candidates are required to submit a paper on various aspects of the research in the chosen areas.
- Video Presentation: Explain how and why the research was developed and discuss practice-specific approaches.
- Clearly demonstrate how each area may contribute extra features that seek to improve or emphasize overall qualities
Senior Fellowship in Musicology - SFMII
Senior Fellow of the Masters International Institute
Pre-requisites: FMII. MCD.
Requirements: Fourth Stage - Four study areas
- Candidates are required to submit a paper on various aspects of the research in the chosen areas.

Distinguished Senior Fellowship in Music Performance - DSF-MII
Distinguished Senior Fellow of the Masters International Institute
